Welcome to the Paula R. Harwood collection of paintings. My paintings are derived from the German Russian Constructivist period. Artists who have influenced my style are Kandinsky, Rodchenko, Duchamp, and Rauschenberg. My paintings are eclectic with a strong sense of color. In my paintings, I use foils, original papers, documents, stamps, Golden acrylic paints and glazes custom formulated for me by the factory. These formulas are designed to be layered with transparency for depth, an outgrowth of my previous work with the smaller medium of cloisonné enamel. I have tried to expand the cloisonné concept into a much larger format. Other media I have worked with in the past include goldsmithing, jewelry design, glass, cloisonné , and mixed media.

My work has been exhibited in galleries in New York and has won international awards. I am interested in showing and selling my existing works, as well as doing commissioned work for specific sites. Please see my bio for additional information.
